A bold scheme for a new apartment above existing terraced buildings in commercial use. Rather than a traditional mansard design, YOOP chose a modern curved roof, designed to be invisible from street level. It is to be clad in a gold copper alloy, to create a ‘precious object’ on the roofscape, reflecting the sky.
